In short: Little Language Garden has no ads, no third-party trackers, and no child-data harvesting. The offline product keeps everything on your device. The optional online “Family Sync” stores only a family code you create plus the names and scores you choose to enter — no emails, no passwords.
The full Privacy Policy and Terms below are provided in English, which is the authoritative version. Where your local consumer-protection law requires, your statutory rights still apply regardless of language.
Little Language Garden (“we”, “us”, “the product”) is a digital and printable language-learning product for children, sold through online marketplaces and offered as a hosted web edition. You can reach us at tech@megzo.biz.
The downloadable product is a single self-contained file that runs entirely in your browser or device. It does not send your data to us or to anyone else. Your preferences and any family members, scores or progress are stored only in your own browser’s local storage, on your own device, and never leave it.
The hosted online edition works the same way by default — locally on your device. If you choose to turn on Family Sync to share data across your own devices:
This sync uses Google Firebase (anonymous authentication and the Firestore database) and Firebase Hosting to deliver and store this limited data. Google processes it as our service provider; see Google’s privacy information at firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
This product is designed for families and intended to be set up and supervised by a parent or guardian. It is built to avoid collecting personal data from children. Family Sync is optional, off until you enable it, and uses only the family code and the names/scores a parent chooses to enter. If you believe a child has entered information you would like removed, contact us and we will help you delete it.
Depending on where you live (for example under the EU/UK GDPR), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or export your data. Because we hold so little — and only under a code you control — most of this is self-service, but you can always contact us for help.
Synced data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored with Google Firebase’s access rules. No online service can be guaranteed 100% secure; please keep your family code private.
We may update this policy as the product evolves. We will change the “Last updated” date above and, for significant changes, note them on this page.
When you buy Little Language Garden, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the product for your own family or your own classroom. This is a one-time purchase — there is no subscription.
Purchases are handled by the marketplace you buy from (for example Etsy, Gumroad, LemonSqueezy, or our own store). Their checkout, billing and refund policies apply to your purchase. Because this is a digital product delivered immediately, refunds may be limited; please review the seller’s policy and your local consumer-protection rights, and contact us if something isn’t right.
Little Language Garden is a learning aid to support language exposure and practice. It is not a substitute for formal education, and we do not promise specific learning results.
The product is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from its use. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory local law.
We aim to keep the hosted edition and Family Sync available, but we may change, suspend or discontinue online features. The offline product you purchased keeps working independently of any online service.
These terms are governed by the laws applicable at our place of business, without affecting the mandatory consumer-protection rights of the country in which you live.
